Appointments

Setting An Appointment With Jackson's Certified Foot Doctors. Our goal is to provide patients high-quality care, individual attention and scheduling convenience. We will make every effort to accommodate your schedule when making an appointment. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we would appreciate 24 hours notification. We in turn will try to keep office schedules on time.

We aim to provide an atmosphere that is comfortable, relaxed and cheerful. To maximize the comfort of our patients, we ask that you bring no more than one family member with you to the clinic. We want your visit to be pleasant and this can be best achieved by an uncrowded reception area.

Telephone Calls

Before your visit or between visits, you may have special questions. Whenever possible, please call during office hours. A toll-free number (1-800-273-3087) is available for our out-of-town patients. Our medical assistant is trained to answer many of your questions, and you are encouraged to discuss your problem with her. If she is unable to answer your questions she will discuss your case with the doctors, and you will be contacted with an answer. If you are calling for medication, please have the phone number of your pharmacy available, and your medicine container, if you want a refill.

Insurance Claims Filing

As a courtesy to our patients, our office staff will be happy to file your insurance claim for you. We do ask that you provide us with your insurance cards upon arrival of your visit, or bring several copies and we will keep them in your file.

We file directly to Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, and most other insurances. We will file any Medicare supplemental insurance that you may have. We do ask that you provide us with your insurance cards upon arrival for your visit.

Payment Policies

Uninsured and/or cash paying patients will be required to pay for services on the day of appointment. For Medicare or private insured patients, we request that your co-payment and/or deductible be made at the time of service. The office will file your claim for reimbursement on your balance with Medicare or your private insurance carrier.

Surgical Care

If surgery is required, depending upon your specific problem, it will be performed in either our office, West Tennessee Surgery Center or Regional Hospital, as outpatient surgery. Your comfort is always a consideration. Office surgical procedures are performed under local anesthesia. Prior to surgery, our personnel will make sure you understand the procedure and answer any questions you may have about scheduling your surgery, insurance, etc.
